Official Camper Weigh In

This weekend was exciting as we took the camper on its inagural trip on the road -- not anywhere fun for camping, but just to the next town over to weigh the finished product (and make sure all of Ben's additions for extra strength didn't pack on too many extra pounds).

We were taking guesses on the final weight and it came in at exactly 1,400 pounds so we don't have to swap out the trailer axle (because the limit is 1,780 pounds).  

Ben has been working on finishing touches and tomorrow I plan on tackling my door project.  Ben's mom reupholstered an old funky camper bench coushion grandma gave me, for the camper bed and it turned out great.
