About Us

Ben and April began construction on the Hobbit Hole Teardrop camper in February of 2015... mostly Ben.  We both share a love of camping, hiking, and exploring the outdoors, which inspired Ben to begin the project.  As we both also share a love of reading and JRR Tolkien's world of Middle Earth, we decided to build not just any teardrop, but a hobbit hole, complete with green, round doors.  

Later, towards the completion of the project, April decided to add a traveling library to the camper so we could share our love of reading and camping as we travel.  

We created this website to share our project and inspire others to create, build, and share their passions with the world too!
