And Then There Was Light
Today Ben and I both did what we do best -- he did some electrical wizardry and I painted.
The lights we installed in the camper are actually lights I bought for our bathroom, but they didn't fit. So, we swapped the original lights we'd intended for the camper and this actually worked out better. They look great, have a soft glow (despite how bright they are in the pictures) and fit in with the look of the camper interior really well.
We had a busy Memorial Day first with breakfast with Ben's family, then a trip to the fabric store for a camper cushion reupholster project, then the umpteenth trip to Menards before heading home to work.
I spent most of my day painting the back hatch green to match the doors and front box. It was a major challenge to get in all those cramped corners and I'm sure there's some green in my hair, but it turned out really well. We stained the back hatch and I really like the color of it. Speaking of stain color, the interior is growing on me, I will admit.
We have a bit more work to do but it is really coming together and I'm so happy with the progress!
